I am an NSTI (national summer transportation student at UVM college in Vermont. The other day we went down to volunteer for the Dragon Boat Festival at Lake Champlain. A very interesting form of transportation involving about 20 people with paddles rowing a boat and racing to see who is faster. The dragon boats were long and slender and could fit 2 people side by side to each bench. The wind was a very large problem however for it made the waters very choppy and made a heck of a battle for the rowers to fight. I was volunteered to bail out the boats which was a lot of fun because we also got to show off how strong we were towing the boats around. That was how we spent Sunday morning. Bailing out the boats and showing off for the ladies.

@koruwashi23 – We would love to see a picture of the Dragon Boat. If you have a copy, or a video, email it to go@iastate.edu. We can publish it for all to see. If you would like to write a little something about it, be my guest. :-)
